Dad shot a quick video of me walking my little wood Dog. I love to walk my real dog, Bogey, but it snowed a whole lot here, so I’ve been walking this guy instead. Inside. Where it’s dry.
Mom, Dad, Bogey and I walked across the street this morning to cheer for the Runners of the Twin Cities Marathon. I clapped as they went by and yelled my favorite cheer, “Bravo! Bravo!” They were all running really fast and it was fun to watch. For a while. Then I got bored.
I turned 18 Months old this past weekend. Wow, how time flies. The photo is of our hike at the Fort Snelling State Park. It had been raining for days, so I wore my new rain boots (Thanks, Anna!).
Now that I’m a year and a half, I love to talk and dance and climb. My favorite words are Hi, Bye-bye, Puppy, Purple, Up, Down, Uh-Oh, Agua (water), and my NAME! I love to dance to just about any music, and I love to climb on my rocking moose, the furniture, the stairs and pretty much anything in the house. My favorite foods are yogurt, bananas, avocados, tortillas, strawberries, and oatmeal. I like to throw tennis and foot balls with my Daddy and to chase my brother Bogey around the coffee table. I’m trying to learn to pet him gently, but sometimes it’s hard not to pet him with all my love!
I went to an Art Fair yesterday with Mom and Grandma Mary. It was warm, but I had a blast. I saw all kinds of dogs, and even got to pet a poodle and give a cracker to a dachshund named Buster. It was fun. And both Mom and Grandma found cool stuff to buy. Sweet!
I spent the weekend running around, chasing the dog and crawling up the stairs. Mom and Dad spent the weekend trying to catch me. It was a blast!
It’s been really nice here lately, so Bug and I have been spending a lot of time outside.
I love sitting on my puppy blanket while my puppy sits in the sun! Isn’t he sweet?
It’s my first birthday today! I vaguely recall the day I met Mom and Dad. I know I was cold and scared, but the scooped me up real guick like and hugged me tight. I think I slept a lot those first few days. And then I met my brother, Bug. He sure is a sweet brother, always looking out for me and trying to clean my face. I’ve had a lot of fun this past year, learning to sit up and crawl and eat and laugh. I’ve still only got two teeth and a little bit of hair, but I’m really close to walking and talking. I love to laugh and swim and crawl and walk from object to object. I love riding in my pink car and my backpack and napping on Dad. I hear there’s a big party for me this weekend with all my friends and cousins and grandparents. I can’t wait. I know just what I’m going to wear!
The rain finally stopped, so Mom, Dad and I took Bug on a long walk this afternoon. It was a little windy, but dry, and most of the snow is gone so Bugs paws stayed warm. My feet didn’t get wet at all because I hitched a ride in my cool backpack! I love it, especially when Dad clomps around like a horse!
