Where did January go? I guess I’ve been hibernating. Actually, I have been. We’ve barely been outside at school since November. But this weekend we went for a walk (without the dogs) and Daddy and I looked for tracks. We found squirrel tracks and even an egg track!
(see us down there? I like adventuring as much as Daddy!)
Yep. The Wild Boar at the Zoo. Rather boaring….
Zebra and I found the shark much more exciting.
Dad and I posed for Mom (again) at the Farmers Market.
And I made a new (bunny) friend at the Apple Orchard!
We celebrated cousin Allison’s birthday last week at my favorite park. We ran and climbed and ran some more and then had cupcakes! It was the perfect day. Happy Birthday, Allison! Can we do it again?
(next time I’ll smile!)
My school held an Ice Cream Social this weekend to honor some of our favorite teachers and I had a blast!
We spent some quality time on the playground and only rested to eat some ice cream treats. I played so hard I even got two!
Mom and Dad and I had a fourth of July picnic with my friend Maddie and her parents last week. We just walked over to Minnehaha Falls Park and had a great time.
We posed for photos.
We practice our dance moves.
We “took a nap.”
And then I cuddled with Daddy.
We spent Easter at my Grandma and Grandpa Nibs house this past weekend and on Sunday Auntie Vickie and Cousin Ryan came over too.
I searched for Easter eggs (and found lots and lots).
I ate most of the Deviled Eggs. (not my Mimosa behind me)
The Puppies kept each other busy.
I helped decorate the birthday cake. (note the paper towels and 409 in the background)
And then I helped Ryan and Daddy blow out the candles 🙂
Mom and Dad and Grandma and Grandpa Nibs brought me to the beach. Have I ever told you I like to swim? Here are a few shots of me doing what I do best:
jumping into the hotel pool
posing with my new goggles
walking with Dad at Three Mary Cays
and my own personal pool at the Villa.
So, I learned to skate. And on Sunday we went skating with nearly the WHOLE family! Plus my friend W. Here we are together, feeling our “two minutes of shame.”
Then Allison and I skated around for a while. She’s a really good skater, even with figure skates. So much fun!
My sweet Bogey turned 10 this weekend. We threw him a surprise party!
I helped him open his presents.
I put the candles on his cake.
I helped blow them out.
And I helped eat the cake.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Nibs for helping me throw such a great party!
