I Turned Eight!!

I turned eight (8)! last weekend but Mom is just now finally posting about it. I had a blast. And I should be writing this myself, but, well, I’m at school right now.

We went to a play (Velveteen Rabbit).

We went to the Mall of America and rode rides and watched the Wild (lose again.) “Oh Yeah! A fight!”

We had chocolate cake with fresh raspberries and more chocolate.

And the next day we went Rock Climbing with my hockey team.

It was a great weekend.
Can you believe I”m 8? Mom and Dad can’t!!

Happy New Year!

Mom is way behind again. But in her defense, and because I’m almost 7, she has asked me a few times to write something for this blog myself. So, I guess we’re both way behind.

We had a great Christmas with my WI cousins. And my WI grandparents:

And then a fun New Year’s Eve (“this is how we do it…”) with our crazy friends the Mendels:

Now I’m back to school and ready to start learning again! Oh wait, more like, I’m ready for recess and lunch with my friends!

What a Surprise!

Mom and Dad were going to bring me to the Wisconsin Dells for a long weekend, but they surprised me at the airport and we went to Florda instead! I loved it!

We went with my good friend M and her parents. We went to DisneyWorld, Universal and we spent a day at Cocoa Beach, where I got a coconut!

I’ll post more photos soon (I promise), but here’s the video of when our crazy parents told us their secret!

so much to tell you!

Wow… Mom really hasn’t been on this site since my first day of Kindergarten???? What the heck has she been doing? Okay, I’ll tell you. She’s been helping me learn to read. She’s been helping me learn to play hockey. She’s been cutting my pears and cooking me pizza and taking me for ice cream. Daddy’s been doing all kinds of crazy stuff too! He taught me how to “deek” in hockey. He’s been bringing me to Ballet where I twirl and jump and point my toes. He’s let me beat him in air hockey at least 100 times. And our new puppy, Z? She’s amazing. And she’s already been with us for 6 months. Wait, what? She hasn’t told you about Z? She’ll write more later this week. I’ll make her double promise.

And here are some recent shots in case you forgot who I was:

My amazing gingerbread house that had Mom swearing like a sailor.

Sick day, Z took good care of me.

Dad introduced me to caviar. Now I request it.

Mom got me this awesome drawing book. I’m an artist!
