18 Months Old

I turned 18 Months old this past weekend. Wow, how time flies. The photo is of our hike at the Fort Snelling State Park. It had been raining for days, so I wore my new rain boots (Thanks, Anna!).

Now that I’m a year and a half, I love to talk and dance and climb. My favorite words are Hi, Bye-bye, Puppy, Purple, Up, Down, Uh-Oh, Agua (water), and my NAME! I love to dance to just about any music, and I love to climb on my rocking moose, the furniture, the stairs and pretty much anything in the house. My favorite foods are yogurt, bananas, avocados, tortillas, strawberries, and oatmeal. I like to throw tennis and foot balls with my Daddy and to chase my brother Bogey around the coffee table. I’m trying to learn to pet him gently, but sometimes it’s hard not to pet him with all my love!

A Fun Picnic

Mom and Dad brought me to a Picnic on Saturday with all my friends. Their friend Monika took this shot of me right before we left. I was pretty wiped out, so I crawled up into one of the chairs with my puffs and relaxed. It was a great day and I slept all the way home. Mom says she’ll post more photos later this week.

A Fun Weekend

I had a really fun weekend with Mom and Dad. We went to Grandma and Grandpa’s pool on Saturday with four of my cousins. And on Sunday we went to the farmers market, a different pool, a bike ride and then Mom brought me to a party! I had a lot of fun and terrorized a couple cats at the party. The shot above was on the way to the farmer’s market. I didn’t want the papparazzi to recognize me. Ha!

Another Day, Another Pool

I went to another new pool today with my friends Maddie, Ryan and Jylo. We had a blast. I watched my friends go down the water slide and figured I had to go to. So I crawled up the stairs, turned around and sat on my bum and slid down. Over and over and over. It was a blast. Then we had a picnic lunch and I entertained the crowds. It was fun.

My New Sprinkler

Mom and Dad got a new sprinkler for me and I really like it. It’s called the Waterpillar and it shoots water all over the place. I love it! Dad helped me run through it, and then I ran through it a bit on my own. I love the water, have I mentioned that?

I Met a K-9!

Mom and Dad brought me to the Richfield Kids Parade this weekend and while we were there I met a puppy! Not just any puppy, but a working dog. A big, huge 90-lb working dog named Wo-Jo. He’s part of the Richfield Police Department and was really sweet. And really smart. Dad supervised as I pet him, but he made me stop kicking him ’cause I guess that’s not nice.

A Birthday Party and Sprinkler Fun

We went over to my cousin’s house this past weekend to celebrate Erika and Sean’s birthdays. It was a beautiful, warm day, so Uncle Chris brought out the sprinkler and pool. I had a blast! Erika (she turned 12) carried me through the sprinkler over and over and over and over. And then I walked through it on my own. Again and again. I even put my head in a bucket of water, but I didn’t like that very much. When I was dry and fed I went inside and beat up, I mean, played with Sean (he turned 10!) I had a blast and slept all the way home. Thanks for a great time, Cousins! Let’s do it again soon!

I Love the Wading Pool

You all know that I love the water, but I have to tell you again, just how much! I love it! I’ve been to the wading pool three times this week and I can’t get enough of it. It’s too bad Bug can’t join me in the pool. I’m sure he’d love to cool off on these hot days.
